Nikkei Telecom 21 Database Trial Announcement (October 1 to 31, 2013)

The University of Toronto Libraries currently has a trial subscription to Nikkei Telecom 21 database from October 1 to 31, 2013.

Established in 1876, the Nikkei Inc., Japan’s premier business media organization, is the publisher of the world’s largest business daily The Nikkei – Nihon Keizai Shinbun – with a daily circulation of more than 3 million. Although mainly a business-oriented resource, there are a number of articles relevant to researchers in the Humanities and Social Sciences.

The Nikkei Telecom 21 Database gives you access to numerous sources both in English and Japanese.  Sources include News Flash, Nihon Keizai Shinbun (Nikkei ; morning and evening editions), Article Archive Search (1975 to present), corporate profiles, and Nikkei Who’s Who.  You can also view images of earlier editions (September 1876-) of the Nihon Keizai Shinbun under the section “Nihon Keizai Shinbun (Meiji kara sengo made) [日本経済新聞(明治から戦後まで)] found on the left column of the page.
